Called the 500 because that’s the total number of cars which will carry the badge… we in England are likely to see only 100 or so units making this the most exclusive hyper hatch ever made.
As you can see from the pictures it is going to be naughty! It is almost straight from the set of Mad Max, for those of us old enough to remember that!! Poster’s of this car will be replacing Cheryl Cole all over the country and those fortunate enough to have the means to own one will be beg, borrowing and stealing to get on the waiting list.
In true Ford style, you can have the RS500 in any colour you want as long as it is Black… matt black. The wheels are black the windows are black the whole intention is black, except for the brake callipers, and they are red! Oh and if you are feeling a little that way inclined you can also specify full red leather Recaro interior, which is nice.
Beside the red leather inside, the Option list stretches as far as DVD navigation… and the standard kit should cover everything else.
To go with the looks Ford have once again teamed up with Mountune and beefed up the 2.5 5pot engine to produce 345ps and 460Nm of tourque the official spec’s are as follows:

Max power 350 PS at 6,000rpm
